I’m back! I have to apologize though because I didn’t end up with quite as many crazy stories as I promised. I forget that crazy stories usually requires some interaction with people and I generally try to avoid people when I’m on vacation. I’m more of a “swim with sea turtles” kind of gal then a “dance with scantily clad people who you don’t know” girl.
It’s usually impossible to avoid people completely though and I still came across some obnoxious people, like when we tried to go to a nice dinner one night and a couple decided it would be a good place to bring their three young sons. I should make it clear that I don’t hate all kids by default, just kids who each have their own personal iPad and play games on them with the sound on at a nice restaurant while their parents drown themselves in their cocktails. Otherwise, I like kids just fine.
The parents were oblivious to my death stare, even though I’ve been told that it’s quite good.
I’m also told that I’m quite menacing when I have an eye infection.
Speaking of menacing, I had a visit while I was on vacation from the Fairy Hobmother. Since “hob” means mischief or trouble, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but it turns out it was quite good because I won a $50 Amazon gift card from a comment I left on another blog I follow. I <3 my Kindle too. I was actually thinking of using my gift card to buy a new Kindle and "donate" my old Kindle to the Husband. I'm always trying to get him to read a book I just read and liked, but I can't separate myself long enough from my Kindle to let him read it.
Been through the same thing…I was reading “The Passage” and kept telling him how good it was and how I couldn’t wait for him to read it. When I was done though I had another book to read so I made him buy his own copy of the book so I didn’t have to give up my Kindle

you know what they should make? a remote control so that you can mute all electronic devices nearby where ppl should have the manners to mute them anyway. i saw a link for a remote that would turn off tvs, which i thought genius, but there needs to be something ranging to other devices…i really really really hate noise. there’s another wish…the wish to turn my ears off to obnoxious distractions.

My wish is for some business cards for my etsy shop I sell vintage goods.. Although I haven’t made many sales yet, I really enjoy working on it…it’s something that is “my own,” which is a big thing actually when you consider the fact that my three toddlers think everything that is mommy’s is theirs too!
