Cat Speak

People who don’t have children brag about their pets, and people who don’t have pets or children brag about their cars. I have two cats, so I like to brag about how my cats have learned to speak English. Unfortunately, they’ve only learned one word and they only use it when they want something, like tuna.

We’re still working on “please” and “may I fetch you a beer.” I think they’re making progress though.

This is why I have a dog.

And are you sure they’re not saying “wow” from time to time? Just a thought . . .

    Wow! Now!

  3. Well, if they had to learn one word, that’s the right one. All cats are born Zen Buddhists.

  7. I think if you only have one word, “Tuna” is as good as any. I’m inspired to have a tuna sandwich for my lunch.
