The husband and I decided to take a day trip on Sunday, so we bought tickets for a ferry to take us across the Bay to a little town across the way. We were waiting in line waiting for the ferry to unload so we could board.

Now, I want to clarify, that I never actually looked at the person standing next to me. I saw she was there, of course, but I was deeply involved in a conversation about what kind of drink we were going to get on our ferry ride (bloody mary).

I don’t actually know if she heard me or not, I just imagined she was standing there glaring at me. And yeah, I had to stand there awkwardly next to her for another ten minutes, trying really hard not to make eye contact. The husband claims that I should have known the hat came from someone next to us, but it was a very long and crowded dock and it really could have blown off of anyone’s head. With my luck though, I probably should have known it was from someone standing next to me. On the plus side, at least I know what my rap name is.

Forget rap. You’d never fit in to that crowd. How about “Harsh-ella” for a heavy metal name?
