In Which I Ramble

My computer has been on the fritz lately. This could be due to the fact that it’s five years old or because whenever those annoying update windows pop up I always say “later, I have a headache.”

Computers, so needy.

I don’t remember if I mentioned it or not, but I also bought a new car the other month because mine died. (Did I mention that the transmission completely died as the dealership was in the middle of test driving it? That’s been my luck lately.) So, due to that and my cats’ demand for high-quality tuna, I won’t be buying a new computer anytime too soon. I did get some more RAM for it (which I made the husband install because we don’t own any pink screwdrivers), so maybe that will help. I’ve also been working late a lot this week and my boss refused my request to pay me hourly in MacBook Pros. He obviously doesn’t know a good retina display when he sees one.

He just walked in from going out and I asked him how the weather was. He said, “Hm, it’s changeable.” And I said, “Like a woman!” And then no one laughed.

Blergh. Wouldn’t it be awesome to be paid in laptops, though? Hmmmm.

Remember when stuff was supposed to last. Isn’t that a quaint idea?

Good for you sticking to the “if the tool isn’t pink then you have to use it” rule. I like that rule.
